Useful Information
This term, we will continue to send out a letter detailing the whole term's homework which was distributed to the children in the first week. We were pleased with the trial period last term and have had lots of positive feedback from you all. All we ask is that homework is returned by the due dates specified in the letter.  Homework will continue to consist of maths and English tasks relating to learning in class. Every other week, we will set Mathletics tasks. Don't worry if you don't have access to this at home because there will be a Mathletics club running at lunch time on Thursdays every week! You can find a copy of the letter in the 'Documents' section below.

In addition to formal homework, we ask that you continue to listen to your child read on a regular basis and that you discuss what they have read with them. This will help enormously when they come to quizzing at school. Spellings can be found in your child's home school diary. Your child should work through the spellings at their own pace. There will be time for them to consolidate their learning at school.

This term, your child will also be learning their times tables.
A letter explaining the process for this was sent home before Christmas and can be found below for your reference.

Outdoor PE will take place on Thursday afternoons. Please ensure that your child has the correct PE kit in school for this. On Mondays, we have health and fitness in indoor PE.
